The Threadfin Butterflyfish is a reef-associated fish and its does not migrate. Its depth range is 1-35 meters / 3-115 feet. It can be found in several different types of habitats, including corals reefs, inshore waters and rubble covered bottoms with prolific plant and algae growth.
I have seen and photographed this fish many times in the Red Sea.

Red Sea Toby, Canthigaster margaritata. Inhabits reef flats, lagoons and protected seaward reefs. Lives in solitary or in pairs.

A small and cute fish, which is hard to find and capture with the camera.
The size: 12 cm / 4,7 inches.
The color: Dark brown to olive, except for a white belly, covered in blue spots, blue line markings between the eyes and on the back.
Most common in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, but also in the Indian Ocean and Indo-Pacific tot Japan.
The underwater world is so beautiful, exotic, colorful and magnificent.
