Neoniphon sammara, the sammara squirrelfish, also known as the blood-spot squirrelfish, spotfin squirrelfish, armed squirrel-fish or javelin squirrelfish, is a species squirrelfish found in the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean from East Africa to the Hawaiian Islands.
This fish has a venomous spine at the corner of its preopercle.
Next to the squirrelfish is the yellow damselfish and the black and white colored half-and-half chromis.
The Exquisite Butterflyfish is one of my favorite fish. I have seen them many times in the Red Sea.
Usually two fish swim together.
This fish is also called blacktail butterflyfish (in latin Chaetodon austriacus). It is native to the western Indian Ocean but has reached the Mediterranean Sea as a migrant through the Suez Canal.

Big Eye Emperor (Monotaxis Grandoculis) can reach a length of 60 cm, which is about 23 inches.
Fully grown adults have a large rounded head, thick lips, silver grey body with dark scale margins, and fins with red margins.
Some species can rapidly change their colour. There are eleven species of the Lethrinidae dynasty in the Red Sea.
I have seen and photographed this exciting fish only a few times in the Red Sea.
The Threadfin Butterflyfish is a reef-associated fish and its does not migrate. Its depth range is 1-35 meters / 3-115 feet. It can be found in several different types of habitats, including corals reefs, inshore waters and rubble covered bottoms with prolific plant and algae growth.
I have seen and photographed this fish many times in the Red Sea.

camera.
The size: 12 cm / 4,7 inches.
The color: Dark brown to olive, except for a white belly, covered in blue spots, blue line markings between the eyes and on the back.
Most common in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, but also in the Indian Ocean and Indo-Pacific tot Japan.
The underwater world is so beautiful, exotic, colorful and magnificent.
