Chlorurus Sordidus Bullethead Parrotfish

Chlorurus Sordidus Bullethead Parrotfish:

The initial phase has very variable coloration. The smaller fishes can be a dark brown to light gray and they may or may not possess a light band surrounding a dark spot on the caudal peduncle.

Larger fish can show a series of irregular rows of small, light spots towards the tail or they may have the light band surrounding the dark spot on the caudal peduncle. The terminal phase, male, is also variable and may have a large tan area on the flanks or on its caudal peduncle. It has a rounded snout.

Chlorurus sordidus is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region, Red Sea included.

Pterois miles, the devil firefish or common lionfish, is a species of ray-finned fish native to the western Indo-Pacific region. Seen in many places of the Red Sea. It is a venomous fish.

These fish pose a serious threat to reef fish populations and thus to coral reef ecosystems and the people who depend on them.

Usually we have seen the common lionfish, which is red brown beige in color. The black volitan lionfish I have only seen in the Red Sea in Jordan.

Memories from Greece

Greece is a beautiful country. Here are some of our memories from our wonderful vacations in Greece.

Greece has many hills and fantastic views

When a cloudy day begins, a trip to enjoy some old ruins is a fun thing to do. During the sunny and hot days it is best to stay by the sea and swim in the wonderful bays.

Kinetta beach is a wonderful beach. Peaceful and beautiful.

Alepochori is a wonderful small town in Greece. Many happy moments and hot, sunny days.

Happy moment

I can recommend to visit Greece. If you like hot weather, travel in July or August. If you like less hot, but sunny and warm days, travel in May, June or September.
