THE RED SEA TOBY

Red Sea Toby, Canthigaster margaritata. Inhabits reef flats, lagoons and protected seaward reefs. Lives in solitary or in pairs. What a unique and fantastic small fish. Happy to see it and photograph it underwater in the Red Sea.

A small and cute fish, which is hard to find and capture with the
camera.  

The size: 12 cm / 4,7 inches.

The color: Dark brown to olive, except for a white belly, covered in blue spots, blue line markings between the eyes and on the back.

Most common in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, but also in the Indian Ocean and Indo-Pacific tot Japan.
